SUPERB PAIR of STERLING SILVER NAPKIN RINGS. This is a stunning pair of sterling silver napkin rings made by the noted Danish Silversmith Georg Jensen and dates from the early to mid-20th. In good heavy gauge silver they are depicted with a lightly planished (spot hammered) slightly convex bellied body with ovoid beading to the edges, while both have names engraved to their face side.

The full hallmarks for the above maker and assay are crisp and clearly struck to the lower rim edge - see photographs and details. They measure 2 1/4 (5.75cm) Dia.

Approx; and are in really excellent condition with no defect of any kind to report - looks to have been a cabinet piece for a great deal of its life. This is a really superb pair period Georg Jensen sterling silver napkin rings made by one of the great silversmiths that's in excellent condition and with a low start price should have a great appeal to all collectors. Apologies, I've just noticed a very small shallow dent above the name Ineke. THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS SALE. Almost everything I sell is in the condition I have bought it, unless otherwise stated, (I have learnt to my cost in the past not to tamper with an item), and therefore I have neither had items repaired nor restored.
