Sterling Silver Napkin Ring Lily Pattern FM Whiting D Monogram Large c. 1910

  

I used to deal exclusively in sterling silver napkin rings when I did shows (Round Top, Dallas Tower Show). Shape: Circle with repousse lilies and cartouches.

Dimensions: 1.75" Diameter x 1.25" Tall. Silver content: 92.5% (Sterling Silver). Whiting & Company" (this mark used after 1896), "Sterling, Whiting hallmark of W with 3 horizontal teardrops either side. Pattern: Lily (which was introduced in 1910). Approximate manufacturing year(s): 1896 - 1905.

Patina has light polishing erosion on rims commiserate with use. Recent thorough hand polishing can probably be improved upon.
