Flutist Boy Large Napkin Ring Whiting Sterling Silver 1909 Mono. Large sterling silver napkin ring, having applied borders and repousse depiction of a flutist boy, inscribed "Over The Hills And Far Away" - name of a traditional British song, dating back to at least the late 17th century. On the other side, there is a repousse ornate shield with an engraved monogram "OTC April 2nd, 1911". This spectacular napkin ring is 1 7/8 in diameter, the same wide and weighs 49.3 grams or 1.59 ozs Troy. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
