Antique Towle Sterling Silver Large 2 7/8 Inch Wide Oval Napkin Ring 25.2 Grams

  

This is an antique Towle sterling silver (marked), large, oval napkin ring with ridges along the top and bottom, all the way around. There is an interesting monogram: the letters in the center of a diamond shape are HI, and the two corners may be a design or may be stylized letters C and P. If that's the case, it may be the name Chip. " On the inside, on the end, it has the Towle maker's mark and is marked "Sterling 8828. The napkin ring is 2 7/8 inches wide, almost 1 inch high, and weighs 25.2 grams.
