Decorated in exquisite repousse work, the motif comprising of clusters of flowers and elegant scrolling foliage done in raised relief with engraved details. Engraved monogram of interlaced initials LM or ML. In overall good antique condition with general wear, some small indentions to the bottom edge.
The ring is slightly out of round. Measures 2" diameter x 1 1/2". Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark, which guaranteed the finest quality French sterling silver of.950/1000 purity in use from 1838 95% pure silver and higher grade than the standard.
